World freestyle football champion  inspires local children and youth in two spectacular performances with DHL

DHL, a believer in the power of sports and the "can-do" spirit, has launched the "We Love Football" Campaign in June with a series of exciting activities to welcome the UEFA EURO 2008.

As part of the campaign, DHL has teamed up with Mr. Woo Hee Yeung, the 1989 Guinness World Record holder of football head tricks, on two exciting corporate social responsibility events for Hong Kong's youth and underprivileged children.

Organized for underprivileged children and their parents from the Changing Young Lives Foundation (CYLF), the "DHL Kid Kick" freestyle football event held at the APM shopping mall allowed Mr. Woo to perform his spectacular football juggling skills and shared his journey of triumph over adversity, encouraging the children to persevere and believe in their dreams.

At the "DHL Freestyle Football Mania", Mr. Woo motivated Hong Kong's youth as part of his commitment to community responsibility by hosting a freestyle football clinic for 150 young people. Participants took part in a friendly and challenging freestyle football contest, training drills, as well as enjoyed Mr. Woo’s performance.

The partnership with Mr. Woo is part of DHL's "We Love Football Campaign". For the campaign, DHL has also run a TV commercial featuring Mr. Woo, who was cast as a DHL courier displaying an amazing array of football tricks while delivering a package, demonstrating how DHL goes "All the Way" for its customers.
